A very tragic legend. The legendary drowned springs of Jusenkyo in Quinghai, China. Hidden deep within the mountains, it is an ancient training ground withover 2500 springs, each with it's own tragic legend.

Ranma Saotome and his father Genma Saotome walk to Jusenkyo and by fatal mistake, use the cursed springs as a martial arts training ground. Despite vivid warnings from the Jusenkyo Guide, they fall in and become cursed with the bodies of other creatures that fell in thousands of years before. Ranma, a girl and Genma, a panda.

Ranma returns to Japan to find out he has been engaged to a tomboy named Akane (after her sisters found out about his secret). They begin their lifelong relationship with Akane smashing Ranma over the head with a table here and there.

Their relationship has been rough. Akane, a tempist tomboy. Ranma, a martial artist with the curse of a lifetime. Engaged against their will, they learned to tolerate each other in time. Now, they are moving together into the next level.
