Every time Ranma's had what he thinks is a cure he's been very happy and hasn't regretted not being able to be a girl at all, though there hasn't yet been a situation when it would be easier to solve a problem if he were a girl and hasn't been able to be one. Also Ranma really doesn't like being treated like a girl when he's female even though sometimes he will act really feminine and cute when he can get something out of it, but he will put up with it if necessary.

Ranma also prefers to fight in his male form and has never chosen to be a girl just for the fun of it ,except perhaps for one or two festivals or buying some food. When Ranma goes to the beach, he almost always goes as a girl because he wouldn't be able to swim in the sea without getting strange stares.
